Security guard slips on grass, slides into Tiger Woods’ ankle

Source:  CBS Sports / April 12, 2018 A security guard nearly caused Tiger Woods to fall over at the 14th hole at the Masters tournament Friday when the guard slipped on the rain-soaked grass and slid right into Woods’ ankle. Woods tripped and did not fall, but limped away and winced while flexing his ankle for the next few seconds, CBS Sports reports. Woods’ first shot on the 14th hole went into the left rough into the trees, causing security to push the patrons back to give him room to try to hit the green on his second shot. As Woods and the crowd ran to watch where the shot would end up, a Georgia Bureau of Investigation agent rushing over to control the spectators slid into Woods’ right ankle. The shot had landed on the green, setting Woods up for a long birdie. He sunk the ball on the third shot, giving him the birdie on the hole.
